Rudrani Ghosh is a freelance photojournalist based in New York City. Originally from Kolkata, a bustling city in India, her work captures the resilience and social bonds of communities forcibly displaced due to conflict and the climate crisis across South Asia.

Rudrani has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s in international affairs from Columbia University. Her current work focuses on the housing crisis and access to permanent housing for asylum seekers in New York City.

She speaks Bengali, Hindi, French, and conversational Spanish, and is available for assignments.
